Job purpose

We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join the team at BeFC to assist in supply coordination.

Source and nature of management provided

Staff management responsibility

There is no expectation for the post holder to perform staff managerial duties.

Career and professional development activities

Special conditions

From time to time, the post holder may be asked to assist with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

This will form part of a substantive role and no additional payment for these activities should be expected.

Main duties and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have previous experience and strong interest in supply chain/logistics management.

1) Assist in data entry and preparation of purchase orders

2) Reception of orders and verification of received items

3) Compliance with the purchase order and quotation after reception

4) Update inventories (labeling, storage conditions, entering items to the system)

5) Perform inventory audits and bi-weekly reports

6) Work closely with the Supply Coordinator and fulfill the assigned tasks

7) Follow up on orders and shipments upon request

8) Prepare outbound shipments to clients and stakeholders

9) Implementing feedback and making revisions

10) Coordinating with other members of the team

11) Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to managers and clients

12) Support relationships with strategic partners, suppliers, and clients

Essential Qualifications/ Experience/ Attributes

Graduating from a Master’s degree (or MBA equivalent) in a relevant field such as logistics or supply chain management

Demonstrated ability to multi-task whilst adhering to deadlines

Ability to improve and optimise

Ability to work in a team and with partners when necessary

Meticulous, attentive to details

Autonomous

Take pride in the quality of their work

Organised and rigorous

Problem solver

Proficient in reporting any arising problem or urgent case

Desirable Qualifications/ Experience/ Attributes

Graduate from a degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant field such as logistics

Previous experience in supply chain management

Excellent knowledge of relevant software (Excel, asana, ERP, …)

Ability to develop relevant documentation

Understanding of English language, both written and oral
